Thick and Thin Wristers
Materials: 40 gr ball thick and thin yarn by Ogle Design
size 13 dpn or size needed for gauge
Gauge: 8sts = 4 inches
Cast on 16 sts. Join.
Rows 1-3: *k1; p1; repeat from * around.
Rows 4-12: knit.
Row 13: TURN - purl
Row 14: TURN - knit
Row 15: TURN - purl
Row 16: TURN - knit
Rows 17-19: knit
Rows 20-22: *k1; p1; repeat from * around.
Bind off. Embelish as desired.
Top Down Knit Hat
Materials: any weight yarn and corresponding needles
Cast on 8 sts; join; place marker for beginning of round.
Rnd 1: increase in each stitch.
Rnd 2 and all even rounds until done with increases: knit.
Rnd 3: *k1; inc; repeat from * around.
Rnd 5: *k2; inc; repeat from * around.
Rnd 7: *k3; inc; repeat from * around.
Rnd 9: *k4; inc; repeat from * around.
Repeat alternating increase round and knit round until desired measurement around (increase 1 additional stitch between increases as you go).
Knit in the round until desired length for hat.Have fun and try some different sts.
Suggested Needle Sizes:
Sport - 5 or 6
Worsted - 7 or 8
Thick and Thin - 13-15
Thick and Thin Scarf
175 gr thick & thin yarn
Size 13 circular needles
cast on 150 sts
knit 16 rows, bind off.
